    I was happy with the $1k equity. 17 othe people in the top 50 obv weren't tho and we only have 33. The $1500 equity here almost makes up for bubbling the $500 O8 :-) Good luck to any other p5ers in this.

    I was very disappointed with this tourney..They have 6 big tourneys, i win one of them and dont even make it..

    The pt total for winning the smallest field (PL5CD) event was small. That said I agree they should have reserved 6 of the 50 seats for the event winners.

    there is a guy at my table who only played two events and cashed in neither of them, but still made the freeroll

    the point system is pretty terrible

    heh, I was just about to post that. He said he played the GT and the short handed event and bubbled in both, pretty ridiculous imo.

    There are better pt systems for this sort of thing sure. But if Room wants to give us what turned out to be an effective 50% rebate on our entry costs for the series then... *shrugs* I'm kinda down with however they want to organise it

    Yeah, i am that player who played in two events (GSOP #1 and the Grand), cashed in neither, yet accumulated enough points for the T.O.C. I finished deep in both, but didn't cash, near the bubble. Go figure.

    there's definately a better point system than this, why should you get points for every spot past the half way mark? Is that some sort of accomplishment?

    From our perspective yes. But I'm assuming Room organised it like this to encourage satellite entries - if they play a coupl eof events and get very deep - even with almost zero chance of winning they have a chance to get something back (and some of the satellite entries will view getting past halfway as an achievement). Satellite entries = Good. Even in this case when no guarantee was actually met simply because if no one sats in and the overlays are HUGE (huger than they were ;-) ) Room is less likely to run something like this again and if they did we may find the guarantees cut. This is still free money even if the pts system they choose isn't one we'd have chosen ourselves.

    They stopped updating the leaderboard after event 4. If you were in the top 50 u should have got an email from Room tho.
