500 sits a big enough # for calc. ROI?
whats a good enough # of sits before i figure my ROI is about right? -
1000 is more like it. Don't expect a 31% ROI over that length of time though, and if you do, well, then you sir are a god.

And Austin, not trying to be an ass, but if you didn't want all these people to attack you you might want to use the search feature. Almost all the questions you asked have been discussed in the last two or three days on here.
-
i post these now because i just started sngs and i usually only read the first page post on pocket fives whenever i wake up.
but ill look up some stuff on search feature now.
TY austin -
Austin..ur killin me

Look at it this way. If you can sit down to play a block of say 4-6 sngs and winning 3 of them or losing all of them - and your ROI changes dramatically - then you've not played enough.
500 is starting to become a good indication but losing 4-6 sngs in a row will actually change your ROI by 1-2% probably - that should be indication enough that you need to play more.
Let me also divulge something important - most people 'lie' about there ROI or are in fact telling the truth but using a wholly irrelevant sample size. Also, Sharkscope doesn't tell the full story simply because:
1. People play on other people's account (e.g. Sheets with his backing arrangements) or to a far lesser extent - myself who played on DarcyTyler for a year and has now moved back to smokeyads.
2. It includes all SNGs - anything from heads up to 180 man sngs - how can you get an indication of a players talents at a 9man sng using the stats?!
etc etc etc.
Simple : If you can maintain an ROI between 10-30% over a small sample then you fall in the same ball park of player - 'a potential winning player'. If you can maintain an ROI of 10-20% over a massive sample - then you're good at SNGs - simple as that. -

I think I not only answered this exact question for you to the fullest more than once in the past couple days, but I even told you to PM me instead of continuing to ignore my, and everyone elses helpful responses that we initially gave you.
For the last time... GOOO HEEEEREEEEE: http://www.pocketfives.com/DAE98FA3-...F9FC21486.aspx
Damn dude... its almost like you don't read my replies Austin. Damn. -
And by the way, if you want evidence as to where I already answered your question regarding SNG's and ROI and what is maintainable, and all that sort of thing... look at my responses to this thread of yours... http://www.pocketfives.com/9EAD8E4D-...E3D8C06D5.aspx
Why the hell would u create THIS thread when you already had ^^^^ that thread asking more or less the same thing with a serious response to it, AND a link to a big thread dealing specifically with this subject... which no doubt you didn't even bother going to.
Next time you are about to post another thread on a thread topic you JUST POSTED not a day earlier, maybe instead just go back to the original thread you created and READ THE RESPONSES YOU GOT.
Austin the reason everyone is totally pissed off at you is that you keep posting questions, and while you usually take the time to respond to all the negative responses, you seem to completely IGNORE any of the helpful responses people give, and then just post similar threads, and continue to ignore their helpful responses until you piss the people off. Then they simply tell you to stfu, at which point you start whining about getting yelled at. Please try to see WHY everyone is pissed at you. They don't just randomly hate people with the name "Austin"... -
^^^^^^^^^ Well said, well spoken.

lol... he is logged in right now... I saw him make a post just now in his "amazing call" thread so I know he was logged in after I wrote these responses for a fact.
Watch him not respond to any of this for no reason whatsoever, and then create like 40 threads discussing sng roi in a few hours...
AUSTIN are you READING THIS????? -
he is busy making a new name, minime3484
-
bfactor ... you always crack me up man ...
-
no he's probly writing a thread named "why won't anyone give me a serious response for my threads" to which I'll give him a good serious response
which he won't read
which will lead to him writing 78 more identical threads
vicious cycles suck. :( -
but bfactor he has a 31.8% ROI!!!!
-
get a life and stop posting austin.
the upper left hand corner is useful so u dont post the same question 3290482390423 times -
i was playing sngs at the time you wrote these responses bfactor. i do read all the good responses as well as the bad ones. and apreciate both. I only started my $5 sngs yesterday and did not realize i had another post for sng before my last few that i wrote. apreciate all the replys.
