  1. Anyone who play on pokerstars who plays double or nothings play these? These are enormously tough compared to the $10 and $20 games. I also feel like a lot of Russians and South Americans might be cheating at this game because i saw a lot of softplaying.
  2. They helped me build my BR but it's pretty dull poker
  3. What stakes did you play?

  4. started on $10's, moved to $20's then played $50's
  5. Did you find the $52 really hard compared to the $20 and $10?
    Thread Starter
  6. Nope, I just play the same, nit it up and try double thru with made hands
  7. But wouldn't you say the play is a bit tougher? I know you may play the same but wasn't it hard doubling up? I mean if you doubled up , i assumed it was when both of you had a decent hand right? Because its hard to take someones stack early in the game unless they got coolered or is a fish.

  8. It's tougher, sure, people tend to see more flops and there's more pre flop action but I didn't let the change of pace influence my strategy whatsoever...

There's still spewtards at $52 level, trust me
  9. I been playing the $52 but i don't see much spewtards much like the 20s. Do you still play them?

  10. 24 table 16$ turbo sngs for 100k a year net = goooood life
  11. Is that number reallistic? That sounds way too high even if 24 tabling them.

  12. hes not talking about playing 100k sngs hes saying make 100k profit....

sngs are a rough way of life man. youll soon find this out if you are serious
  13. Yes, that is what i mean. I don't think that is possible to make 100k profit 24 tabling $16 turbo sngs. That number sounds way too high. I just sharkscoped the 9-10 player turbos highest winners for the year and the best ranked player made $30000 this year. Are you saying this player made $70000 in rakeback or something?

Say what? It is the total opposite. You arent trying to win the tournament, you are just trying to get top 5 so there is waaay less action preflop. Play it correctly and you are throwing away a lot more hands then you would in a normal sng. I play the turbo and with 1500 chips, it is hard to re-pop it without a strong hand. Near the end with 6 or 7 players, the bluffs can happen just because players will fold 88 if they dont want to lose half their stack if they are pretty much guaranteed a DoN. Hell, i was reraised all in with 6 players and i was 2nd in chips. I folded KK.

try checking the 6 maxs or the 18 and higher levels... that may lead to higher net profit? not sure though i dont subscribe to sharkscope. but it is def possible because boku has done some crazy shit... although 50+tbaling i guess not 24 tabling...
  16. I looked at 6 max as well for games under $24 in sngs. I think the best player made $40000 max this year....

  17. trust me 24 table 8 hour sessions daily you can make 200$-500$ profit.... ITS A SICK GRIND FOR ONE YEAR.... TAKE WEEKENDS OFF.... AND RUN A LOT TO KEEP MIND FRESH.... BUT ITS DOABLE I PROFITED NET 105,528$ in a span of 11 months and 23 days I afcourse went on a long vacation right after that lol
  18. Can you tell me what is your sn by the way? Or did you block yourself on sharkscope? Because I really can't see 100k a year possible in $16 sngs. Did you include rakeback/fpp into this calculation? Because if you made that much money at the $16 turbo sngs on stars... i cannot believe 2nd place only made like $30000....

  19. no limit pro?

  20. zero chance that no limit pro made 100k in a year playing 16 turbos.

  22. I had a refund from stars @ the $50 level for cheaters....DONS are horrid poker players and the game should not exsist. I thought I would try em out got sucked in to this boring game for a few weeks then quit em and month later got a refund. I had so many iffy spots it made me hate poker for a while.
