    cmuplayer ???
Button shover has been pretty agg, I called, prob should have just iso-shoved myself.
Big Blind is a reg, top player on FT leaderboards.

Got myself in a mess here, is this an overcall situation where I just need to beat the shover???

    WWYD?
  2. Don't flat here and put yourself in spots like this in the first place.

That said -- as played, you have to call here. Make the short stack beat two hands instead of one. Had you folded and shorty doubled, you'd be a significant short stack, having almost less than half of the next smallest stack. If BB has you both beat, at least you cash. And if your 66 wins, you're sitting with a superstack 3-handed and in great position to win.
  3. Yeah you def have to iso-shove this I mean you only have like 7bb's..Calling his shove and then calling the big blinds shove just looks terrible..
  4. I'm not sure this is a bad play.

    I don't like iso-shoving 66 in this spot- I'd rather openfold it.

As played I am snapfolding here and praying that BB takes out villain.

I'd love to hear a higher stakes sng/math geek's take on this.

Yes I'm looking at you Jennifear.

EDIT: And I think this is an interesting math/theory spot. Any chance it can get moved to PD?

  5. Thanks all for the replies, summary:

    1. Jen did answer, saying iso shove was best play, and overcall was the play as I played it.

    2. I ended up folding, feeling I totally botched the hand,

    hand ran out:

    cmuplayer folds

    Ardin shows [Kc Ah]

    Rookie006 shows [Jc 7h]

Uncalled bet of 3,310 returned to Ardin

    *** FLOP *** [3c 6d 9s]

    *** TURN *** [3c 6d 9s] [Qc]

    *** RIVER *** [3c 6d 9s Qc] [7d]

    Ardin shows Ace King high

Rookie006 shows a pair of Sevens

Rookie006 wins the pot (4,140) with a pair of Sevens

    *** SUMMARY ***

    Total pot 4,140 | Rake 0

    Board: [3c 6d 9s Qc 7d]

Seat 1: AuMind didn't bet (folded)

Seat 3: Rookie006 (button) showed [Jc 7h] and won (4,140) with a pair of Sevens
