I am a computer n00b and I am looking for help with regards to a new set-up. I have decided to get 2 "32 LCD TV's wall mounted as oppose to dual monitors. I understand the basics of what I require eg. 1920 x 1080 resolution for multiple tables but other than that I have limited n00b knowledge. So basically in this thread I will ship $55 on stars to the person I deem to have given me the most helpful info.
My biggest question is : what is the best connection from PC to LCD ? I know there are many eg. HDMI, VGA, S-Video, D-Sub - but I believe you can lose resolution scope if the connection is not of best choice and obviously this is one of the key factors in my decision.
I also require to know what other accessories I need to make this happen eg. graphics card, both visual and audio connections ?? etc etc. I believe it may be possible to crossover from one connection to the other eg HDMI - VGA but have no clue as to quality loss or best choice - this point is particularly relevant as the LCD TV I would really like to buy seems to have limited options for connection to PC's .... but I really am unsure.
I will post a link to the TV's I would 'like' (if there not gonna be compatible i will look into others?) to buy and the specs to help but I am open to any help on choosing a moderatley priced desktop pc that will allow me to do this :D

Links to items (preferably from UK based retailers) would also be much appreciated but I'm sure I could find similar stuff if they are not UK based. I am making this thread as I would like to set this up as quickly as possible when I get home (currently away working and with limited time to research) and assure you it is not because I am lazy or a member of the royal family :O
I will keep great interest in the thread and even post pics once it happens :D
Thanks in advance , holly17 -

Should be set to go. -
You are going to want to get a video card with dual DVI-HDMI outputs for the best resolution to your dual monitor setup. I see you realize that your video card must have resolution up to the native resolution of your LCD. You should probably look into a custom built desktop to suit your needs, if not, any high end desktop should be fine but a dual DVI-HDMI video card is a must. Sound would just need a moderately priced card preferably 7.1 depending on your setup or just one that hooks up to your audio direct to LCD. If you need help picking a desktop feel free to pm me. Good luck w/ everything. -boduzefa
