  1. If anyone had any experience at both 6 and 9 mans, which do you think is easier to beat? I have played pretty much exclusively 6 mans but I am starting to think that I should sway towards 9 mans soon. It seems that it would be alot easier to get in the money in the 9 mans than the 6 mans just because if 3 ppl make the money instead of 2 then you naturally would need to get your money in less times than if only 2 played. You cant really fold your way to money in 6 mans most times and are almost always forced to take marginal bubble spots. I am sure there would be times in 9 mans that I would need to take marginal spots but it seems that it would be alot less than in the 6 mans....Does that seem to be reasonable to those who have experience in both?

  2. Well, mathmatically 2/6 spots is 33% paying, same as 3 for 9.

I think it depends on how well you play. When I first started, I was able to beat 6 man events (it was my first thing I could win on consistently). To this day, I'm a break even 9 man player. I think the one advantage for me is that it makes more sense in a 6 man to 'play to win'. It's not as much about getting deep and cashing as much as sealing the win when you get the opportunity.
