  1. Just how much do you need to open your game up for the shorthanded events at the WSOP.. especially the $1500 where you only start with 3K in chips
  2. thought this might have been a better discussion

  3. probably because there is no great answer.

just play the normal way you would at a 6 handed table and you will be fine.

  4. Marc,

I am no shorthanded expert, but I heard one approach of playing as if the first four players had folded. This loosens your game up a little in early position, but doesn't get it way out of line in late position. Example, you may open for a raise UTG with A10 if that is a hand you would open an unraised pot with. You also treat raises as MP raises, although I would still give a UTG raise a lot of respect.

    Good luck
  5. ^^ pretty much what he said

when youre utg just remember youre only 3 off the button.
  6. Just treat UTG 6-handed like you do UTG+3 9 handed.
  7. Play good starting hands and let the donkeys play you off unless you don't get sucked out or outdrawn. My raising hands are the same for a full table. Good luck!
  8. yea that's what I was thinking... I am sure there's a lot more aggression and loose play too though in general
