My image is always LAG in cash games, but situations like these are tough for me. I believe that I played it correctly on the flop by just checking, considering the pot was already as massive as it was and that flop hits or creates outs for almost every hand I put him on since he just called. I ruled out AA because of the flat call...which can be seen at higher stakes but I imagine would never ever happen at .25/.50.

The second check and the check behind on the river might have been saftey plays (especially the river check thru). Without a solid read on a player and knowing that your opp. views you as LAG, do you play this hand differently by betting at either street? -
Ugly flop for KK. I dont mind your line at all. I dont think you could extract much value here (safely), esp not on the turn/river. I may have bet the flop, but that is not a big deal in this specific situation - with him having AdKd.
One thing to help get better responces is to leave out the results of the hand. This stops people leaving results orientated posts - like i could easily say bet the flop, or bet the river because I know his hand. If you had seen his hand you may have been able to get value on the river if he tought you were trying to buy the pot. But in reality I check too. -
With that high of a percentage of your stack in the pot preflop you have to stick the rest/majority of the rest in on the flop.
-
push the flop
-
would have bet the turn
-
why? how ugly is this flop, and is he calling with anything that i DO have beat? I really don't think you just push the flop, everevereverever.
-
Push flop. Just because he has "outs" (which he really really could on that board) doesn't mean he is ahead. Get it in while you are ahead, and make him pay to draw out on you. Don't give him free cards with 40% of your stack in the pot.
There are so many hands that you are beating that will call you on the flop to draw.
