I've been playing a few 6-handed $13 SnGs on stars recently and made a few dollars. I was wondering whether there are people out there that play these regularly in order to build a bankroll? Is it possible to build with these, and can multitabling say 4 at a time produce a meaty profit?

I play 6-handed SNG's exclusively... Youll also find many top SNG grinders (KrazyKanuck stands out) that stick with shorthanded tables..
About 1.5-2 months ago, i decided to try something out where i played nothing but $12 and $35 6-handed SNG's on BODOG and, $5 and $10 6-mans on UB. I changed up from 12 to 35 depending on how i was feeling on whatever given day and how variance was treating me... To this point ,through 105 6 man SNG's my results are:
Buyin: $1880
Rake: $174
Total Investment: $2054
Return: $3732.30
Profit: $1666.3
Again, this is only a small sample (105 as i said), but I am pleased with the results to this point. To answer your question, yes money can be made playing 6-mans exclusively -
I strictly play the 6-handed SNGs and find them much more profitable than the 9-man SNGs. I can multi table with three tables at once, but any more than that is too much for me. Unlike the 9-man tourneys, you dont have alot of time between decisions, thus, any more than three is difficult (for me). I have been playing the 6-mans on PS and UB (mostly on UB) for a couple months now to build a BR. It works for me!! I average about $4 per SNG i think. Try the 6-handed Turbos on UB. These are very quick and full of fish. You can usually finish in about 30 minutes as opposed to the hour or so for the pokerstars tournies. I see alot of guys (zz94, duckkilla247, lasagna*oka*) who play several of these at once. If you look at their Sharkscope stats, they seem to make a very good profit as well. Good luck, and see you at the tables. By the way....dont limp into my BB!!
