Hello, soo I have been playin sit n go's on stars for the past 6+ months and my game has pretty much improved like crazy but I'm still having little issues with bankroll and mid stage of sit n go's where I get stuck on stupid hands, all I'm askin for is some advice, I play full time cuz my real job gives me the luxury to play at work soo I wanna tweek my game soo I can constint profit on a steady basis.
- soo for 30$ sit n go's 4-6 tabling at a time what should my bank roll be?
- another question, I have pin pointed that to play a full 6max turbo sit n go it takes roughly 35min, and that if you have 3000 plus chips on the bubble or late in the game your pretty much in good shape to make the money, but my issue is when I have 2000 plus chips mid\late in the game and the blinds start eating away is it worth bluffing pots or do i tighten up more? I always find that when I raise with a so so hand like 10 king agaist a guy with 1500 chips he just shoves were it puts me on the spot that if I call I can be crippled, if I fold ill be put below 2000 chips and improving him soo I'm always put on the spot in these situations were the blinds are eating away at you and you need to make a move, I just wanna know what should I be doin min way in a sit n go to help make my decisions more easier? Can I get some advice on that and thx -
Bubble play is not about playing post flop. Generally, at this stage of play you will be at blinds of 100/200 or higher. Your decisions should be fairly simple: push or fold. You will be in the blinds 67% of the hands and do not have enough chips to get cute and play post flop.

You need to learn a good Push/Fold strategy. -
In terms of bankroll management, I find this very helpful: http://www.pocketfives.com/f7/sng-mu...-guide-378221/
In terms of your mid game situation, I would take size of blinds into heavy consideration. Also, how thye act will be helpful, if they're loose, go ahead and call it, you may be in a toss up, but if they['re loose, you could potentially have them dominated. If they're tight, go ahead and fold and wait. I imagine you could buy your blinds right back. -
Only thing, its hard to read people when ur multi tabling know what I mean? And its not that I'm bad just curious how big are the swings in sit n go? Like the swings till u make profit cuz I'm sure some sessions u might be down 4 buy in etc till ur up a profit

I remember posting on one of your "9 man sng need help threads" and I basically told you to stop playing them because they're extremely hard to beat as they're filled with regs. I can't vouch for this from experience for the 6 max but it is true of the nines and therefore probably not a long shot to assume so of the 6s. Play larger sit n gos. 45 man plus. Seriously take the advice. You'll save tons of money and make more. The nine mans really helped my game but I don't have a lot to show from them even though I'd always consider myself the best player when sitting down at the table. Unless you have strong strong evidence to show that it is still very easy to beat a 6 max turbo sng then take the advice from someone who's played thousands of 9 mans in his time. STT's are not worth your time (not including the 300 chip starting stack stt's)

Haha yes I do remember you did post about the 45 man + sit n go's and I have been taking little shots at them, thx a lot man, but what I can't get through my head is there must be people out there making big profit playing sit n go's no? Like I know I come across regs all the time in sit n go's but there has to be people making steady profit playing them no? And if there is wtf are they doin loll
-
I'm sure a few people do but they are definately a lot harder than 45man+ just because everyone has the "correct" play style down to the T. The edge a good player has at a 9 man is very small now compared to others when everyone else is playing abc tight as fuck game. I think you might be able to play them loose and have better results but you can't really multitable too much if you're doing that. The most profit is definately in 180 mans which you should be aiming to get to imo. If the American market comes back though, I don't think playing 9 mans and 6 mans is a big deal because there will be a lot more fish then. A hell of a lot more fish.

Yea im gonna start trying the 180's and see what i can do, i just thought sit n go were more profitable then cash, i guess im gonna try tweeking my sit n go game while i take alotttt more shots at the bigger sit n go's but still dont know how the fuk people are making all this money playin online poker these days
