7 card stud on party...must read for anyone interested in stud or making money lol

    Ok, as some people know or don't know my best game is stud. although i like hold em the most i truly am better at stud than i am at HE. anyway with that said, after a terrible terrible run of cards in multi's and SNG's i decided to switch up to stud exclusively. so this is what i did. i took 50 dollars and played .50/1 stud ring game on party. my plan was to move up in levels everytime i doubled up until i busted out or had a decent roll. it my sound kinda silly but for 50 bucks it was worth the experiment. anyway within in 20 minutes i had about 120 dollars so i moved up to the 1/2 stud game. in 7 hands i was up to about 300 and then decided to move up to 2/4. within an hour or so i was up to about 570 and decided to go to 3/6. i got my roll in 3/6 up to about 800 after a few huge bad beats that should have never happend i was left with about 600 and decided to call it a day.

    Now i noticed that party has some stud MTT's and i was sure there were just as weak of players in there as there was in the cash games. so i gave it a shot and in my first one i took 4th for about 800 and in my second one i took 7 for about 200. not to bad for my first stud MTT's on party in a long long time. while i was playing those MTT's i played 30+3 stud SNG's to pass the time along with the tourney. i won 3 and took 2nd once in 5 tourney's for a net gain of about 300.

    So within a 2 day span i took 50 dollars to about 1800. i obviously know thats not to much in the grand scheme of things but it just goes to show that people on party really have no idea what they are doing. along with that everyone knows that party is the place to make a killing in cash games at any level in HE, but i'm sure most people don't venture into the stud ring. i would like to challenge all of you to try and do the same thing that i did by putting up 50 bucks and starting off at .5/1 stud and seeing what you can make out of it, trust me you won't be dissapointed. Let me know if anybody is taking me up on this challenge.

    PS anybody know of any bigger stud games online or want to play heads up?

    Hey Man! I dont know much bout stud at all but i would love to play heads up. I played the game about 10 times and like it alot. I did come in 29th in the wcoop stud event. PM me if u would like to play. hopefully we can play 5-10 or higher. gl at the tables and looking forward to sum fun heads up

    I can also testify to this. earlier this year i put 100 into party and started playing some stud hi-lo, the player were so terrible that within a week playing part-time i had turned 100 into almost 700 playing .50/1 and 1/2

    party really is just a combination of the worst players with the most money anywhere online...its really quite unbelieveable how many people play on party when they really have no idea whats going on...its just eerie almost

    hey you dudes want to share some stud strategy? ive ventured into omaha and can play holdem well, but some pointers in stud would be great thanks jdog

    I play stud from time to time.

    Early in the morning on stars (3-5 am) the 30-60 can get quite juicy when the gamblers are trying to get unstuck. Picked up over 2k in less than 90 minutes last time at 7 stud H/l. Nothing fancy either.
    It was 3 handed and I folded often, but was called down every hand......it was yummy.

    I look for 2-3 players. Watch there play and jump in if I think my style is a good match.
