No real reads except the obv 4 x pre which would denote a pretty decent holding I'd assume.
Is there ever a reason to raise this river... or is it always call/fold, likely always call tho.
  2. forget the river, bet the flop or the turn

  3. If you think he has a strong range pre why not raise then? As played Id flat the river.

ya its usually a fold, that would be the best way to play this hand as bad as possible throughout
  5. i would raise pre,
    bet flop
    bet turn
    as played....i call

absolutely, but seriously im shoving on the river. If he had a 10 i would think hes betting out on the hit to either steal it or feel you out(could be wrong, someone tell me if i am) I would say hes got qq or kk maybe aq ak

Who checks that flop with KK or QQ? I think he mostly has air and rarely has you crushed but doesn't have many hands that could call a river raise.

  8. if any player raised 4x in first position, I am 3betting aces 100% of the time. As played, I shove river. Do you not have 5 clubs and one being the ace? I don't understand, you're hand is so underrepped and you don't even have that many chips behind you. This $$ better be going all in at some point in this hand.

  9. level?

  10. bet/get in flop, i'd just call river, unless u think he's bad enough to call w/ lower clubs.

  11. Didn't see the four flush I'd raise.

  12. raise pre please

  13. so what are the results?

    rough day?

  15. Looks like JJ to me, but you should get this in, hes never folding ~30BB effective there. shove pre looks best probs
  16. Pretty sure you couldn't have butchered this hand any worse but as played call river your not getting called by worse if u raise ever I don't think

  17. as played just call. this is either 66 for the boat, or a hand that wont call a shove anyway (well i guess the Kc but its wishful thinking). and its an easy pot to try a bluff. if ur only calling w/ a flush he wins 75% of the time.
  18. Lol, I realize I've misplayed this hand terribly, as played however, what is the play.
Obv I should be re raising his 4x open knowing he isn't folding if he's spazzing with that open.
And ya if he's calling pre or 4xing, then he's never folding a to a single bet on the flop.
Also dont think KK plays this hand this way from his end.
He ended up having JJ and ya i've obv played this hand just terrbily

So now that we know he had JJ, is it okay then that he checked with JJ? or was chrisdave's play just as bad as ship? i want to know now where the villian went wrong in the hand for max value, if he already didn't get it...
