  1. This was getting close to the money. About 100 more to cash. I need to chip up to have any chance. Is this a good enough spot? Or should I have folded with the way he limped? I didnt even take the time to think, which I regret. I made up my mind I was playing for stacks when I saw my cards.

  2. The biggest leak is the one you already mentioned. You decided to play for your stack when you saw your cards.

There is nothing wrong with seeing the flop when he completes.

Overplaying medium pp's from the blinds is a leak of mine that I have been working on. After reviewing my own HH's, I have found that I bust later on more frequently by overplaying my medium pp's from the blinds preflop. My range for medium pp's for this discussion are 66-99.

I have come to the conclusion that sometimes it is just better to see a flop than trying to use FE to steal the blinds. In this case, b/c you raised, you called off way to many BB's here with PJ's push. Mr_Hand calls t4015.

I have no problem with your raise here, although, you have to fold to his push. PJ is not pushing a hand here that you are beating. So, as I mentioned, you already know your leak, try to not overplay your medium pp's from the blinds when you have this many BB's left in the tourney.

  3. Blind vs. blind I'm never folding here. Given the effective stack of 17.5 bb's he's capable of limp/shoving fairly wide here. I'd say 22+ A2+, and any 2 paint.

Jestor are you mistaking pearljammed for pearljammer?

I made the mistake of posting the results of the hand. Im sure that brought some bias opinions. I would tend to agree with you killer. If he thinks Ill check too much but will call a bit more, he's giving up value with big hand by not open raising to something. If he thinks Ill raise too much then he can be limp shoving a very wide value range.
