  2. Mmmmmm. Getting 4-1 in this huge pot, and nobody else left to act, I am making this call all day long.

Next time don't post the results right away.
  3. I'm folding here, 77 to easily dominated, best a flip
  4. You can't fold. 4:1???
  5. If you want non-results oriented answers, don't show the end result.

That said, I think you have to call here.
  6. I can Im a tight nit, and know I will hit once out of 7.5
  7. Big mistake to fold. 7.5 to 1 to hit a set, but easily 20% to win the hand which justifies the call. Actually, we shouldn't know this, but with all those aces tripping over each other, the odds of 77 winning would justify a call getting only 3-2 on our money (rough guess).
  8. 3 all in's behind him and you think his hand is easily 20% to win?
  9. yeah, i didnt think about only posting to my decision. im a jackass. anyway. i agree with what threebanger said about aces tripping over each other, but i figured one of them had to be good for 99-QQ and i was kind of being a nit on bubble play too. so i guess i did myself in for playing scared and not thinking clearly.

    thanks guys

  10. Well I have the benefit of knowing the outcome, but even without it I think I make that call getting 4-1 and generously assuming my 77 can win 20% of the time to justify it.
  11. i think 20% is a little generous. obv after seeing the result we can say that but just looking at the hand i don't think you're typically 20% to win here. But I suck at mtt's.
  12. If you're going to be folding to a 4bb raise all-in atop of your initial raise, you shouldn't be opening the pot.
  13. ^^^^^^^^ That's a great point that I glossed over in my first reply. It's a good argument for just open folding 77 utg here when so many shorties will make you race for a lot of chips.
  14. As played this is a call.

Oh and maybe I am a nit but I am folding 77 UTG with your chip stack or pushing with it. I am not raising.
  15. Bulldog,

Your overthinking it. He had a boat, how can you not play :).

Seriously though, this answer should be used more, since these questions almost always only get posted because they would have won.

Still, doing a quick look at this, it's under 5k to win 22k in total. The only thing that is really scary here is that the bigger stack pushed in after you raise and 2 shorties (with wide ranges) calling. He's the only hand I'm really worried about.

That being said, even assuming you have to catch a 7 to win, you have the odds to call (so, giving up to one overpair, you have the odds to play this. Also, occasionally, you might not run into that (the first 2 hands can really push almost anything there).

I think your way behind, I still think you gamble here. If your hand wins (and you have a chance) of that, you are in great shape. If you lose, you aren't that much worse off if you fold after the raise (and I have no issue with the open raise there)
  16. id call look at those pot odds

BTW id also open fold that hand preflop

AS PLAYED- i would call looks like a turbo you need 2 gambol the pot odds are so f'n amazing i think it would be a huge mistake to fold
  17. I agree, this is an open fold, but once he decided to raise the pot odds are too good. TBH, I think you pretty much assume you are up against 2 all-ins since the 3rd one can barely cover the BB.
