It's a worthless sample size, but wanted to get it out anyway. I'll post at every 100 or so. That way you can see the roller-coaster ROI ride that goes hand-in-hand with multi-tabling. These stats may be verified by whatever results tracking site you use.

I finished playing the $27 Turbos, and simply couldn't take it anymore after 2,000 played. I became lazy & complacent, and was playing uninspired poker & needed a challenge. Thus, I moved to the $60's. If I had to guess, I'd say my overall ROI expectation in these is gonna be somewhere between 8-10%... we shall see.

  2. Wow! very nice..David, I have always looked at a lot of your progress from sngs and I would have to say your results are amazing. But why turbos and not regular stars structure? Is it a time thing? From my experience I see alot more of the weak players winning in turbos, then the reg structure.

  3. i used to play the $60 turbos on stars earlier this year...haven't played them the last couple of months but i plan on getting back to them .... they are quite soft

    here's my stats (4-tabling)

    Played: 606
    Invested: $36360
    Returned: $41926,50
    Total Profit: $5566,50
    ROI: 15,3%
    ITM: 40%

unfortunately i have no stats for the only thing that really matters: hourly rate
    .....
  4. He plays turbos b/c you can make more $/hr which is really the only thing that matters.
  5. 7Head,

What Drewmas said is correct. After considering all the different calculations & other stuff, the most-important of all (in my case) is hourly rate. Although overall expectation in the non-turbos may be very slightly higher, it doesn't come close to making up for the extra time invested in my opinion.

  6. Goooooooooooooooooo Dhuber!
  7. Do people call you UberMex? If not, they should. lol

You're my new hero, i've just started quad-tabling 6.50 turbos. How long did it take you to get to the point you're at now?
  8. how many session do you do a day? I just started 9 tabling $3.40 turbos on stars and here are my stats
btw i track $5 sngs also but i usually just play $3s so there are 3 or 4 $5 ones and for the first 20 or so sngs i didnt record time so i just put 45 in so my $/h is wrong
  9. So far i'm averaging about 4-5 sessions per day. To answer the question below that Nick asked, I use Poker Tracker... but very casually.

  10. sorry for the retard question but what program is that?
  11. david, do you use a program other than excel to track your data?

  12. Dhuber, What was you ROI% at the $25+2 level?
  13. well it was this program but it appers to no longer exist...http://sng.pokercomment.com/
  14. My ROI at the $27 level (1,000 played while 10-tabling, and 1,000 played while 12-tabling) was right at 7.7% (approximately $21/hour). It was a combination of a bad run, uninspired play, and complacency on my part.

It's amazing when I think back to August of last year and remind myself that I actually 16-tabled the $5.50 non-turbos FOR A LIVING once I figured out I could win long-term. Unfortunately (and I know this is going to sound corny), I just couldn't take the $27's seriously anymore, and was slipping into mediocrity. I think maybe sometimes a player can be a little "too" comfortable, if you know what I mean.

I'm really hoping that my game will improve since I'm only playing 8 tables right now. I'm still feeling the urge to 10-table, but I promised myself I'd stick to 8 at a time until I have a sample of 500. But overall, it makes me very proud to think of what I've accomplished (with the help of others) and enjoy being able to say that I've actually GRINDED MY ASS OFF to get to this level (instead of hitting a windfall in an MTT or something like that).

  15. You're inspiring. Honestly.

Are you using two screens I take it? I've got a 19" flat panel and 17" CRT but not sure I can do more than 8. Is it alright if I contact you, I may have a few more questions.
  16. awesome David, simply awesome!!! GL with your latest challenge, I think you will do great. I really have not noticed a tremendous differance from the 27's to the 60's, in terms of play, so I think with the lesser volume you will experiance greater results, over a longer time frame. Good Luck my friend, look out 109's.
  17. pariah you should be able to play way more than 8 tables with the help of poker stars new software. I 9 table on a 17 inch flat screen with a bit of over lap.
  18. Can someone send me this program? Please PM me if you can. Otherwise, does anyone know where I can find the program online?
  19. I wish I had the focus & concentration of David, period.

I know fully what you mean about slipping into mediocrity in terms of uninspired play. Few people talk about this in terms of multi-tabling, but it has a drastic impact on your output. I wish you nothing but the absolute best of luck as you move up stakes!
  20. cort check your pms
  21. You must have a hell of a pile of fpp and vip points
  22. David- If you wouldnt mind, could you talk about what type of BR you waited for to move up in levels.
  23. LOL 300 dollars roller coaster more like 13k swings everyday for me.
  24. Yeah I'm interested what type of a BR you have to support this. I imagine that playing that many tables creates a lot of variance...
  25. Empire, please go back to neverwin's sitte and go jerk off to dan druff pics. Kindly GFY and have a nice day
  26. more tables = less variance
  27. But if y ou are playing "uninspired" or tired the loses compound very quickly at times. You really need to make sure you mentally prepared to play b4 starting these kind of sessions
  28. dhubermex, I've just started playing within my bankroll seriously. You mentioned that you multi-tabled the $5.50 SNG's about a year ago.

Can you show any stats from that, or just tell me how they went over-all?

Also, what were some things you changed when you "Realized that you could make money over time?"

Once I have an adequate bankroll, I'm going to do the same thing. It seems that you stay within your bankroll very well.

    Thanks
  29. David or any other multi tablers at stars. Do you guys like to tile your tables or cascade them so when the action is on you the table pops up? What do you prefer?
  30. tile so you can kinda keep an eye on all the tables at once and decreases the liklihood of a misclick
