  1. This is from tonights big 55. I'm 4/30 when this hand arrives. I have been at the table for ~40 hands, so my information on the opponents are pretty limited. BTN has been aggro opening wide and 3betting in position several times. 2.5x has been his standard open. I folded to his 3bet from BTN an orbit earlier. I opened at t7200 to 14400, got flatted by the player to my left, and he 3b to 50000. I fold, flatter shoves and he folds. Also noting that villain is from Greece, and chatted with caps lock on in greek to another greek on the table. May be irrelevant, but could mean he's more spewy, even though i haven't seen him spew much yet.

His 6bb sizing is big IP, and he probably would make it smaller with an air 3b. He would also probably make it smaller with the top of his range (KK+). The sb and bb also has small stacks and he would have to call the sb shove with his entire range there. SB was his greek friend though, so wouldn't expect him to worry about him that much.

Do we shove? Flat? Fold? 4b/c?

Does this small information justify stacking off here, or do we look for better spots with a healthy stack. If I shove here I mostly expect to fold out his air and overcard range which is somewhat undefined, but seems loose. I would expect to be called by TT+ AK+. Maybe AQs. 88 doesn't do very well against that range.

  2. Bump :-)

This probably is a fold readless, and I guess I got tricked by a short term image. Against a really aggressive LAG this should be a shove though, because his range on the button there will be wide enough. (His calling range won't change much however).

With the right dynamics and if he had 3b a bit smaller, it could be better to 4b/c for value.

Shoving here against basically a random feels really spewy, and I do regret that I did it. I may also just be results oriented in this spot..

  3. 4b shoving 400k is a massive reshove. His sizing makes it hard to do anything..i can see some people set mining but i'd still rather closer to 20-1. He's probably not going to 5b you light. It's hard to range him based on his 3b sizing after he already made the 50k squeeze and folded. That almost makes me want to 4b call...but really, i just fold and tell no one. Keep your 50bb stack and find a better spot

  4. Stack sizes a bit awkward. Flatting OOP is bad -- too shallow. Shoving is spewy -- too deep. 4b/f given villain's sizing seems bad. 4b/c seems rather ambitious. I don't like any option. I think given that you're 4/30 and he's a top 3 stack, I'd probably just sigh fold here since it's a really high variance play to do anything else. You'll still have a healthy stack and plenty of weak players to exploit.
  5. What is his 3bet % overall.
