What're the Pros/Cons of playing 9 handed and 10 handed SNGs? Does the one extra person negate the extra buyin? Thoughts?

yah what a dick, anyways i find there really isnt a big difference and u will probally find the competition just as easy, as for the prize distribution the ten handed sngs are way better i like the fact that:
1st-5 buy ins
2nd-3 buyins
3rd-2 buyins

What're others prefrences?

I personally only play ten handed sngs and avoid sites that have nine handed sngs. I like winning five buy ins, or receiving at least two times my buy in. It is my assumption that when you finish third in one of the nine player ones that you don't receive two times the buy in? Again, I'm no expert.

The rake ensures that you never get 2 times your buy in when you finish 3rd in a 1 table SNG. It is easy to forget about that little 10% hurdle you pay every time you play one.
