  2. I'd make my preflop raise smaller...3x is probably fine, but 4x is too much considering we're only 30 bbs deep. 3x allows us more postflop play. I'd also make my flop bet smaller, closer to half pot. Betting 3/4 pot is going to make it tougher to get value from worse hands which is obviously our goal. On the turn, the 9 really doesn't change the board at all so it's reasonable to assume that villain won't be folding. I like making a 1/2 pot or slightly smaller bet on turn as there really aren't any river cards that are going to hurt us, but by getting in more chips on the turn we can give villain better odds to call our eventual river shove.
     
  3. I dont mind checking turn. There are really very few cards that can scare us on the river. Give him a chance to hit/bluff river imo.
