Very early on in the tournament, and I haven't done much so far.
vik = 9/6 32hs
We are not folding to the flop raise, but I wanted to discuss our plan for the turn and river. Clicking back the flop seems pretty bad - if he comes over the top again we can't be ahead and have created an gross situation. Should we be just playing the hand passive from here onwards and just re-evaluting the turn/river cards? My guess is his range here is TPGK, 2P, TTs, 44s, though this play may not even raise top pair here.
Thoughts?

Without answering your question, how can you call a player tight if you are assigning him 2 pair on this board?
-
I think 2 pair is in his range, I'm not saying this is his hand. Arguably his range is quite strong here (of course, not knowing much about the player he could be doing something stupid/weird here as well), but I don't see how we can just snap fold to a MR w/AA here. I posted this HH to get ideas about turn/river play.

He could easily have AQ KQ here or if hes getting creative might even have a hand like KK or even KJ. Def not folding the turn. I say call and c/c the river as well.

Check calling keeps his weaker hands in, if you raise, his weak hands fold out. Seems only 1010 and 44 have you beat that are in his range, and 10 10 may have re-rasied pre flop. QQ 3 bets pre flop too. Q 10s is the only 2 pair hand he could have, which is low probability if he's tight as you say, all others in his range are Qx hands, AQ, KQ, QJ.
I like c/c turn, re-eval river but likely c/c river too unless Q peels off. If he's hit a set with 44/1010, i think you gonna have to pay it off. -
I agree with the above without a solid read on the player I am check calling down. Don't really like it but at the beginning of tournaments especially you get people doing fishy things. Against some players without a flush draw on the flop I folding on the turn, but against more players I would call down. Just one of those spots where you hate life lol.
