Hey everyone, this hand is from the final four tables of the stars 20c on Sunday.
Pimoss and I have been at the table for awhile, but we haven't played many hands together, though I believe he had flatted two of my EP opens (neither went to showdown) before. He's from France and shows his Nova stars. Him and Chris (Stars pro) have been opening and 3-betting a lot of pots, and have been the most active at the table, all while keeping their opens/3b on the small side.
Pimoss hasn't shown down any straight bluffs to this point, but a hand occurred where he small 3b from the SB over a BTN 3x with 75dd, c-bet with a gutty + BDFD, checked the nuts on the turn, and valueballed a rivered flush for a little over 2/3 pot (a little over half his stack).

I should have bet more on the flop since it was 3-ways and it would've set up nicely for a shove on the turn if the third worst card in the deck didn't fall. Turn goes c/c and he bets a brick river card, I'm getting 7:2 here, thoughts? Are there enough weird combos/one pair value-blocks/air in his range to call?
Also, the fact that he goes for a 40% pot bet on the river seems interesting as it's different from what he did on the river with the 75dd hand. Would anyone consider turning the hand into a bluff and shoving 145k over what looks to be a blocker bet?
Before I get the "well since you're posting this hand you must have called and lost", take FWIW that I believe I'm a very non results-oriented person from my extensive SNG background, which helps make downswings and disappointing deep finishes a lot easier to handle. Although I probably just leveled half the readers into thinking he showed up with air here...or maybe it's a double level? Thanks for all comments! -
Yes definitely bet bigger on the flop...you can take sets and 2 pr out of the equation prolly cuz he would raise these on the flop. KT is prolly out if he is solid enough cuz it's pretty bad to be flatting KT here. Hard to tell what he flats 20bb EP opens iwth cuz hands like 76s is pretty bad. I mean he should be c/r Axs on the flop too with your stack, unless he is worried about the guy behind pushing him off his draw somehow. Nothing makes sense the way he should play it so call and hate life if you lose...just sucks only having one pair here on a coordinated board but not everyone plays 20-25bb effective stacks the same. Look forward to more thoughts here....but def bet bigger on the flop....if you bet 60-70k, that leaves 190k and sets up turn shove no matter what.

there's a reason p5's doens't have a dumb hh converter like 2p2....
