I think you have to be dead here, I realllly think he has like exactly 99. There just aren't too many hands that make a lot of sense to me here which I guess could mean he is making a move. Your line looks pretty strong to me, in my opinion it's not a great time for a move which just makes me lean towards him having it. I lay it down.
-
Yeah I agree, risk not worth it this early IMO. Check call is probably a better option than bet fold depending on his river bet sizing...66 or 99 def in his playable range here

although i wonder why he raised and left himself only 25 chips...things like that always get me to think twice and reconsider the line -
I'm not good enough to fold... but if you have concerns and you bet out on the river what are your thoughts if you get raised? If you don't think you're going to call a shove/raise then check/call.
-
Id most likely bet the turn but I dont mind a check to get value from 77-TT Jx hands on the river that may fold the turn if u bet. As played Id b/f the river. I think c/c is fine too

Edit. I just feel that if he was gonna bluff he'd bet the turn when the king came and try to rep it. I really think he has like 99. -
This is a pretty sick spot. I think 99 makes sense here but wouldn't limit it to that. 66/22 probably raise flop and/or bet turn and a Q10cc or KJcc def fires the turn so I'd rule those out. Based on his flop play I would see him having a Kx flush draw or maybe a less likely Axdd. I think you played it well. No real reason you shouldn't bet for value on that river given his passive play. Check/call is also fine too since you're OOP. As played I probably call/vomit on my keyboard.

Reason: incorrect suit -
after the hand i asked him what he had and that i made a huge laydown and he told me he had pocket 77´s which obv doesn´t make sense at all but his statement really looked like he indeed had a pp whch prolly was 66 or 99, 99´s are more likely since he didn´t bet the tunr which he prolly would have done with 66´s
-
i think he missed the flush draw
-
i believe he had 77 if he says so, ur line looks pretty weak and im pretty sure this guy is more than capable to bluff shove river
-
his line doesnt look that weak to me, and I could easily see myself putting him on a monster if I'm villain. I'm ruling out 77.
-
villain probably puts OP on QQ. he slowed down when a scare card comes out and now perceives his river bet as some sort of very thin value or blocking bet.
-

Edit: Also 0 chance he had 77. Saying he had 77 after you said you made a big laydown is something I would say too to piss you off a little. No way he had that hand. -
I call

Not sure about this. I like your initial idea. Here villian´s range with his actions is gonna be made up a decent % of the time by PP and J-x that are checking behind the river. Only he is betting hands that crushed you and bluffs that I thing there are only few in his range. On the opposite, you can have more bluffs in your range, therefore you are more likely to get called in the river.
-
I don't like checking the turn in this spot, it really does look like he may have a hand like 99, but i think AQcc is also in his range,i think the villian rarely has 66 in this spot because he is probably raising the flop here and certainly betting the turn after you check it...
