Rush $1 rebuy MET... Thoughts on how I played this hand and what is the best play when he leads pot on the river..? Just FYI i've been getting absolutly anniahlated by 1,2,3,4, and 5 outers and I have to admit it's really starting to affect me.

Punish his limp harder. 4x is good standard punish. Like the turn check back and you were gonna bet river right? Pot lead makes you not like it anymore. Read dependant on player capabilities imo but since it is rush. You can go either way but his limp call range K-TJQ type of hands, 44. You beat a few hands plus air but it just seems now that the 4 rivers he has a K type of hand and is not worried bout his kicker anymore.

Thanks for the reply..
Yeah I was going to bet the river until he put such a big bet out there. I checked behind for pot control and basically so he didn't CR me and put me in a difficult spot. Once he led out a pot sized bet I felt like his range was polarized but like you said, it's hard to know his tendencies because it is a Rush. My question is, in a normal instance, how often are we ever good here? -
Raise 4-5bb pre, i someone in a 1$ wants to see the flop u have to build the pot preflop, they rarely fold pre after limping. Bet the turn small.. Most bad players will automaticly check the river and u can check behind, cant see how ur hand could be the best here, i prolly wouldnt fold either, just sayin this is rarely a bluff
A cr will save u chips in such a situation! Its not a tough spot at all when he cr, he has no reason to believe u 1. Dont have a K and 2. Ull fold a hand as strong as AA here, so ur beaten and let go rather easyOriginally Posted by jsagan77
