About multible account in a MMT

    First of all. I dont think its ok for anyone to be entered more than once in a tournament, and I think its cheating if you do.

    But the only advantage I can see from doing that is that if you get on one table with more than one account, you know about two more cards for each player, you can chip dump and collude with yourself. If you never get on the same table as one of your other entries, isnt it just like entering two diffrent tournys? I'm not trying to justify anything. I just want to know where the advantage comes from, and get peoples view on this.

    Well, if you're an especially dominant player, having two cracks at the win is significantly better than one.

    If you have a 5% chance to make the final table of a given tournament with one account, you should have about a 9% chance with 2, assuming the 2 are never at the same table, and since the money at the top is so great. Two accounts can be a huge advantage. You'll just win more often, and for the better players who make a lot, they will bring in more a month, nearly doubling profits, if collusion isnt involved. If there is collusion, profit numbers could take a significant up turn.

    You are right.

    Having more than 1 account in a tournament does nothing.

    even though if someone is playing 4 accounts in the same tourney it gives them 4X more chances to win.

    When you play the lottery, do you play 1 ticket or multiple?

    if you play multiple tickets why?

    So instead of posting this garbage, just answer that question to yourself and you will get your answer
