  1. About 90 people left in the 100K gurantee Sat tourney. I am the massive chipleader of the tourney. I have 125K and 2nd has 80K. I keep getting moved around tables, and fold for the first couple rounds before I take over the table-I have been gaining tons of chips by selective aggression. I am at a new table and have folded first 25-30 hands. 6 seat I finally open with Q9 of clubs- Not exactly show of blinds at time but something like 1500-3K and I open for 9K. Late position player who hasn't played many pots nealry min raises me so that it is 10K more. After this raise he has abt 30K behind. My first question is should I even call here? I know I am getting 3-1 plus if I flop a monster I will probably get all his chips. However, his raise is screaming monster. This tourney has been played where I can keep gaining chips with no risk. Do you I need to get involved with a hand here that I know is creamed preflop?
I made the call--odds just too good(lol)....I'm ready to checkfold flop if I dont flop monster...flop comes 863 one club. I check he checks behind....pick up club draw on turn-7 of clubs are so. Now there is roughly 58K in pot and he has 38K left.....What should I do? Do I check and call if he is giving me right price? Do I push hoping he had AK and I can move him and even if he has AA like I suspect I have a flush draw that I am not getting too bad a price on?
My 2 questions...any justifcations to fold preflop? What's my line on that turn?
ANy talk would be great. thanks

  2. I'd fold there pre-flop, you don't want to play that hand out of position against a supposed monster because he can move you off your draw at any time.

Protect your big stack by playing no-showdown poker, instead of risking it on playing a marginal hand out of position.
  3. You haven;t played any pots and this is the first one... He prob knows this and still raises you anyway and you're the chip leader.... he diff prob has you crushed and this is not that hand you should play around with in my opinion...... Fold and watch his play after this hand and see what he's trying to do
