6 folds, NoBadBeatsPlz raises to t2400, Hero requests TIME,
I think I've played this game long enough and looked at enough hand range tools, etc. etc. to have at least a general feel for preflop situations like this; but honestly, I had no idea what to do here. I don't have any particular read on "NoBadBeatsPlz," and I havent shown down any schwag hands or anything to affect my image...
1. Do you call, jam, fold, something else? What do you do with A2s - ATs and A2o - ATo?
2. What do you think a reasonable range is for a standard regular to open with in the SB here (not too loose/not too tight)?
Thanks,
Tony -
To a tight player that hasn't been stealing blinds fold. To an active player raising in late position to steal blinds, jam
-
You would jam here and jam vs. a cutoff and button open as well? You don't think that we sorta have a lot of chips or that the times we're called we're in real bad shape?
-
tough spot....
1. with 30 bbs deep I think its too spewey to jam, I like a call, just because I think if it comes ace high its hard for him to put you on a ace. I think I call A2s-A8s, fold A2o-A6o flat A7o-A9o 3 bet call all better other hands.
2. I think he is definitely opening a huge range especially because its such a tough spot to play but you simply have too many chips to make it a +ev shove. I think he is opening any pair, 10 9s-AKs and j10o +
