Ari is a good player and has had good results lately. He also plays an insane volume, and is a pretty consistent winner.

Oh yeah... remember how I won that triple crown? Made a few other final tables too... $36k profit on the week and over a 350% ROI. SICK.

I dare anyone above me to post their stats for this year, or dating back to last september or whenever. Everyone other than Rizen is like 2x the volume (or way more) and less profit.

You know why no other top ranked players would post their statistics in the past? Because I posted mine every month, and no one else ranked higher than me would post them and make it obvious that they were being outperformed!

You know why I stopped posting them? Because I SAW players like belowabove have LOSING months and retain their ranking or even move up! A few months ago, this guy had TWO STRAIGHT MONTHS where he LOSES, and drops like $30k, and is MOVED AHEAD OF ME.

SO PISSED.

Its such a joke. I remember when I was #2 and was moved back 2 spots in 2 weeks when I took a break from posting.

To answer a question in a p5s thread, why did I keep posting?

Because I occasionally enjoy it and I want to be the #1 ranked player. But MAINLY because of the rankings. As what happened to my ranking in the 2 weeks I "took off" indicated (I am reminded of the convo including the clause " if you still support p5s....") , that wouldn't be possible if I stopped posting.

i kinda like AJ. he's the TO of online poker. A completely misunderstood, enigmatic force in all that he plays. I think some of you need to get off his case as his results are indisputable. Some people can win and produce as a quiet, kind, and polite person (ala rizen, bax, arod), others need to have an edge to their personality, act pissed and sometimes be a dick. The abrasive attitude is what keeps them focused and hungry.

Everyone finds different ways to get motivated, perhaps this is how AJ does it.

Aside from everything...AJ is really fucking good at poker. Although I think his videos on Cardrunners suck.

Do you remember when I won my triple crown a few weeks ago? I won stars 100r 2x, chopped it hu 1 other time, and chopped the 200r w/ 2 other great players cptjackpot and phatty, and that was on stars alone. I was all over everything I played for 2 weeks straight w/ 80k+ profits.....

I stayed @ #4, at the time Rizen was #2 and Ari was #3 after 2 of the sickest weeks of online domination I have ever had. I understand where Jeff is coming from, but the fact of the matter is there is so little room for movement right now in the top 5, bc we have all been putting up sick results bc we r all great players.

I Ari, and JohnnyBax is obviously great but. If you look at the DB for pokerstars I cannot imagine anyone has a better record as far as wins a high finishes per tourney played. I dont know how the ranking are done, but I truely believe AJ would be number1 if he played the amount of tourneys the other top players play.

All that being said, I do not have the advanced DB. From what I can see AJ is MrConsistent.

Why do people worry about the rankings so much anyways? The best players play to make money not to see who can be "the best", besides being the best players cannot even be determined, there are way to many varibles. Ivey, Greenstien and Brunson have all said this so maybe jeff should just worry about winning and not the rankings.(not that he has any trouble winning.He is fantastic player and i cant ait for more of his Vids on CR)

Why not show some respect to a gentleman who shows you repsect? You don't have to kick around insults everytime you express your opinion. It seems to me like it's nothing more than a product of his age. There are a lot of other players around here who are his age or younger, but carry themselves with a lot more class than him. Who gives a shit about his results? There is always somebody better, more impressive, or that makes a ton of more money than the next guy.

why don'y you guys ignore him? If everyone agrees that he's an attention whore then why the fuck do people post on here everytime he says something/makes a blog entry. Didn't anyone learn back in elementary that if you ignore a bully they'll go away? It's almost sad that without him some people would have nothing to talk about.
