Advice for my first Sunday Million

    Playing in the sunday million for the first time (just feel like taking a shot, and with the double guarantees, this is as good a week as any). I am mostly a $10-$30 MTT grinder with an ROI of about 43% over ~1600 games. I play TAG early and a mix of TAG/LAG middle-late. I take a lot of chances even early in tournaments (i.e. I am never afraid to take a race, even on the first hand of the tournament). Is there anything I need to change, or anything extremely different that I should expect in this tournament, that I am not normally used to. Thank you all in advance.

    From what you said, I wouldn't change a thing. Don't expect a tough field or amazingly great play, especially early on.

    Get plenty of red bull, good luck and expect 10-12 hrs of life tilt.

    Never played a SM but have played a few that were way above my avg BI. I say just play your game, heighten your sense of awareness, most importantly focus on making a good decision every single play you make. If you do that you'll go deep.

    One thing I would say is the stacks will be deep enough and the levels long enough that you don't have to flip for your life early. See some flops with those mid pairs and AK-AQ and you might do even better than doubling up....and you might also preserve your tourney life.

    Open shove w/ any two suited cards evry time in EP.

    Not really obv. 1)Dont be intimidated, overall the play isnt any better than what u have already faced in your $30 buy in tournies 2)Pay very close attention, and exployt every weakness u find. 3)be prepaird for one long fucking day 4)And donnt get tilted! the structure is pretty good, so its never over till its over.     thanks all for the great advice. normally i 4-6 table, but i slept in like a mother, so I'm only going to be in the million, the 100K lotto, and the Top 1000TLB freeroll. once i donk out of the other two, I can focus solely on the million, although I'm pretty good at getting reads when I have 4 or less tables. gl to all P5's, lets TID.

    after being in the sun warmup i can tell you the megadonks are out in force with the 2x promo. expect lots of flips so bring the goods. expect t9 utg to take out your ak at 1k bb level, oh that was me nm.

    just bc its got a 2 mil guarentee doesnt mean the play will be good. it will play like a 20$ tourney

    resteals with non premium cards, based on reads players that raise weak in LP are KEY. I'm still getting this concept down and i think is key to winnign a huge MTT and a sunday major. GLGL

    shove any flush draw or gut shot draw and you should do well. Also try and have Ax to KK alot!
