I appreciate anyone out there who can offer me advice. My ongoing problem have been my negative variance where I have the monster hands, which are raised of course only to get a loose call to beat me when all the $ is in on the flop or before. This hardly ever happens early in the sit n go's for me as I have been getting mediocre hands just trying to play hands in position and scoop up as many chips as possible. I have been getting occasionally lucky with suited connectors where I get 2 pair, I raise the flop and the river pairs the board, not my card on the turn or river and I try to check it down to not lose too many chips to a better two pair. The end result has been a short stack which when I go all in with KJ or KQ I have been up against AJ or AQ. Should I play any other cards to give myself a better chance when I am short stacked.
