Almost anyways..
I Chopped a $3 mtt on stars last night with one other guy. I had the chip lead and got $235, he got 215, and we played for like 15, and he won that when my 77 ran into his QQ. We were at the same table for like 2 hrs and was a cool guy, otherwise I wouldn't have chopped. But it was fun, and for my 2nd FT, I'm quite happy. Not a big win I know, but my best tourney thus far.
TY to those who railbirded for a while, that was really cool. Got down a bit after I lost the chip lead with 2 tables left, but managed to build it up at the FT and then took down a few huge pots to be CL again. Hopefully more to come soon -
Hey, congrats man. No matter the buy-in, any tourney win is a big accomplishment.
How do you chop tourneys on stars? I've seen that in the really big tourneys support just hangs around and watches to see if they want a chop. Do you have to email support and wait a while for them to show up? Thanks -
FAAAAANTASTIC!!!
Great job dude!
Isn't awesome when you get your biggest ever cash?? -
There was another P5'er watching and he emailed for us. You just have to email, saying the tournament number and URGENT or something, idk.
Just decided to chop this one cause the other guy was really cool and we were relatively even in stacks. And I'm not great at heads up, which was evident in the fact that I lost when we played for the $15 lol, so I'm glad I got $235 out of it rather than the 180 I would have for 2nd. -
Yea, I mean I originally put in $50 last month, got it up to 280 through SnG's. Then blew it all on a really bad run over a week or so. redeposited again for 100, built it up again and now this is very nice. Biggest single cash, yea
These real latenight tournies are awesome, I gotta become nocturnal or something. 380 people rather than 1900 or whatever it is during the day. Much nicer -
Great job. Good feeling, isn't it?

Definitely a relief more than anything.
I had a great tourney going in the $5 earlier yesterday, but got knocked out in 80th when 9-9 lost to 6-6. Woulda made me close to the CL too. Then got busted in a $10 mtt when I was the favorite. Was playing real well and glad I decided to register for this one rather than get some sleep lol -
Congrats, any tournament win on stars should be viewed as a huge accomplishment for the simple fact, it's hard to find a tournament with under 1000 players.
