ty, i have little to NO experience playing high BI. i liked the CB on the flop. and then the all-in bet on the river. making it look like a bluff. i have ALOT to learn.

  21. ok im glad i posted this hand, i might learn something talking with you better players.
is it pretty standard to go allin on the river, with a monster? well i know you guys will probably talk shit and call me a retard but im serious.

when i make a hand like that i hate going allin there cause im afraid theyll fold. so i usually make smallish bet hoping to get paid. is this wrong to think this way??

dont get me wrong if my opp is showing strength and i feel there is a good chance hell call, id move in. but in both of these hands charders and the AKJ hand, the villian showed hardly if any strength but yet still called allin on the river.

i need help getting paid off with my big hands if i want to move up in levels. i do fine at the lower levels, but i want to eventually get to the bigger games, but i know i have leaks and im not sure what they are.

there is almost 250k in the pot going into the river. No other bet size makes sense. I don't think he would do anything other than shove, be it for value or of he were bluffing.

EDIT: misread, there is almost 350k* Any bet other than all in would be an underbet

  23. ajk were u getting it in pre?

    seems loose/spewy

    HAHA that line is hilarious

hey, i'm pretty sure making $13k in 4000 games qualifies you as a pretty good player, even if you're not some high stakes roller. i don't think you'll be treated as scum for asking a question to people that you clearly respect

lol I dunno whether this is a level or what, said by below, but wtf, I was in all honesty thinking same.
Clearly enuff, both AJK and SCTrojans (and Below, obv) are like 1000000 times the player I am or will ever be, but I think there must have been something between AJK and the guy to justify that play. Look at AJK's position as well, he is not even the c/o or the button. Was it a major bubble time? Was the minraiser a major tard? I mean, and I am sure many of you would agree, I would of liked more that reraise pre with say suited connectors (or a very strong hand obv, I'm basically talking polarization here). I dunno, but then again who am I etc.
Oh, and AJK, I DID notice it wasn't you to post the hand in the first place ;)

  27. Im sure hes 3betting pre for a reason guy was probably opening constantly
  28. lol - wtf did this dude put AJK on? Obv he didnt think to put AJK on AK, AA, AJ or JJ with the way the hand played out was the ultimate spew job. What could he beat? This looks like a 3r spew - From 3 betting AJ pre from mp to hitting the 3 outer twice to this dude thinking AQ was good here. I rly think AJK folds to shove pre, but only Alex can answer that one.
