I pulled up the db this morning and there he was with a 52k score on the front page....He should stay #1 in pro poll for a long time after this stretch of ridiculous cashes he's on. Sick sick sick!!
-
Grats AJK, I railed you from 5 handed and when it got down to 3 handed you def took over with some big reads.
Grats guy!!!! -
sicko

Saw that hand maybe 15 left where he bluffed off 150K in chips where he folded to a river shove. Left him with 32K in chips. Comes back to win. That was incredible.
-
we should be more suprised if he DOESNT win a major mtt...such a sicko congrats...and ball state pwns IU

God I hate when people say this. Anyone has to "run good" to win a mtt. But good players consistently get deep and out themselvs in position to win. For every 1 tourney that you watch AJK or any other top player win where u might see him "run good", there were prob five or six that they got deep and got sucked out on.

ummmmm nah its ok, i really do run the best

Preface: I think Alex is one of the best high volume MTT players online. There are very few people I actually ask questions about hands and hand analysis and he is one of them. He is one of the nicest most ballerish people I have met in poker. I love him and his poker game and CONGRATS SICKO.

But you also have to understand how big a factor running good / luck plays into this game. Refer back to the threads about MTT variance if you don't remember. Something like with a 10k MTT sample a true 0% ROI player could run at like 200% ROI and a true 100% ROI player could run at like -50% ROI or something retarded. Over 10k+ MTT sample which is more than most if not all of us have played. Its absurd. I'd be willing to bet every dollar I own that Alex is not a lifetime 170% stars ROI mtter with the schedule he plays lolol. Nobody is. -
I understand this, I just get annoyed that whenever there is a thread about a well known player winning a mtt someone always has to come on and say they run so good bla bla. The only player that can win without running good is pokerccini.
