    I just talked to Clonie Gowan about this hand over im, she recommends 4 betting to 19 K and folding to a shove.

    I shove. flatting and c/r'ing AI on all flops can be alright if the villain is 3 betting kind of wide and then cbetting a huge % of the time. 4 bet shoving probably has the least amount of variance tho

    play as you want but 40+bb im not shoving ak pf much unless I got a great read.... With 40 bb I can pick another spot... ak is nothing but 2 random cards and isnt anything until your hand is made....

    against a random with no reads im shoving. if i had posistion i might flat with the intention of raising a guy that is constantly c bettign all in on any flop. but OOP shoving is the play

    so you are going to flat a 3 bet OOP for like 15% of ur stack with an awesome 4 bet hand and then c/f when you miss? fwiw when people talk about finding better spots in MTT's... THIS IS THAT SPOT

    They are DEFINITELY players who NEVER 3 bet with less than QQ+, AK, but it can be very hard to pick out those players if you have no history with them. So against a rando, this is a 4 bet shove.

    Yea im just being REALLY results oriented as I had a great stack. I shove here 100 percent of the time... I shouldn't really have even made this thread as it would be poor to flat OOP with a great 4betting hand such as AK. /thread

    This is a shove 80% of the time, a fold 20% of the time. As I said, there ARE players who NEVER 3 bet AQ, so a fold would be +ev against those players. But you can only make a +ev fold if you have some history with the player.

    I understand the logic behind c/r postflop, but I would much rather just shove and get folds from 66-JJ if he is capable of 3 betting those pre, whereas he might not fold any PP with an 8 high flop.

    this is really bad advice. if you want to improve your game, don't play like this.
