  1. I think I might be playing it too agressively before the flop with low blinds but I'm not sure.... I figured that showing that much strenght before the flop if I don't hit my A or K I should be able to take it down with a continuation bet more often but that has not happened (I don't know if it's pure variance or if I'm doing something wrong).

Here's an example (I play 9 tables at a time in this limits):

    pokerstars Game #26186487261: Tournament #149555142, $3.00+$0.40 Hold'em No Limit - Level I (10/20) - 2009/03/20 22:45:26 CT [2009/03/20 23:45:26 ET]

  2. In a spot like this one, I usuall would raise to roughly 155 or so, 227 could be a little much, but thats not really a big deal. Your OOP on this hand, which sucks, but on such a dry flop at THIS level, I think a check is the way to go. He min raised you, and only has 1/2 of what he started the hand with, so at this point you KNOW he's not folding.

When you check this dry flop, its an easy fold while only losing 227 instead of 577. A continuation bet on a dry flop like this is usually saved for when your deeper in the tourney and have a table image imo.

  3. Is this a 9 man sng? I probably make it 160-180 if so, but I don't think I cbet here in general.
  4. With the blinds so low, you don't need to get so aggressive with AK out of position. If you do, you find yourself in very tough spots like this one.

Just make a standard raise and don't get too fancy when you miss.
  5. Did you consider just flatting here. You are oop and if you hit the flop no one will give you credit for AK but if you miss, you lose the minimum. Hit it and you'll likely scoop a nice pot.
  6. hi i don't mind the way you played this hand preflop. I think flatting preflop and playing a 5 way pot with AK is useless. I like you raise however I think I would bet about 250.With this uncoordinated flop I probably b/f because it looks like you were set mined by alfyshep with either 55 or 66. Thats jsut my two sense.
