1. We were down to 12 players and at the time I was 4th in chips. What's your play here and why?

Crunk_Ninja: ??????

DESS66 had been raising a few hands preflop, but nothing crazy. However I certainly didn't have him labeled as a nit and figured his range to be 99+, AQ+. Thanks for any help.

2. Short handed and he's re-raising a cutoff raiser. I shove.

3. how did you establish that range? how had calvin been playing? was he raising alot or was he a nit?

4. I shove...i think he would have a slightly wider range..and AK runs well vs it...plus ur obv representing a monster AK QQ+ by shoving..although u clearly have little to no fold equity.
5. go all in FO SHO
6. im shovin

7. Awwwwwwwwww ennnnnnn awwwww day baby.....looks like you shoved and lost givin you finished 12th....was it a race or a lee special??
8. I had been playing at the same table as him for a little while now. Like I said, he wasn't a crazy lagtard but I knew he was capable of making a play in this position. I didn't really have a great read on calvinm from what I can remember. However, nit or no nit, he doesn't have to have much of a hand to be raising from the cutoff six handed. So I really didn't give his initial raise a whole lot of credit.

Would love to here some more responses.

9. honestly, only if the reraiser is the nittiest of all nits, there really is no discussion to this hand... gotta shove.
10. lol gimmi...that's kind of cheating, haha

will post results soon

Would you have to have a very sick read on someone to find reasoning for a fold here? Obviously these are the key spots in tournies that make or break you, if I win the hand I'm 1st in chips by 250k+ and about to head into the final table. I mean it's all about going for the win right?

11. The only reason I might fold here is if the table has been letting me chip up on the FT bubble with little to no resistance. If they have been letting me do that, i'll toss this on occasion.

12. Heheheeheh i couldnt help myself sorry :)))...Anyway i think 95% of the responses your going to get will say call. I mean your really going to need some crazy read on the guy to fold there, and by crazy i mean hes your brother and you thought him how to play, and that he only repops with QQ+. I think its just really UL if hes ahead in this spot, not much you can do about it.
13. Doesn't look like anyone thinks there is a chance at folding here. I posted this on PXF and after putting DESS66 on a range of 99+,AJ+,AQ+ the calculations show that its slightly a push in the long run. One of the guys (Asterix_77, ty) came up with these calculations:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 50.291% 42.67% 07.62% 552405396 98617272.00 { AKo }
Hand 1: 49.709% 42.09% 07.62% 544861884 98617272.00 { 88+, ATs+, AQo+ }

Here are the results:
