i have been tag and so has he.. tricky spot..i think flatting oop is horrid.. not sure i want to ship it in here with this hand with blinds this low... fold? advice please
  2. early in the tourney...id shove and take the flip
  3. Generally - especially against a TAG player - you have to consider this:

It is unlikely he would reraise you with AQ or worse (the only hands you're dominating), which means you're coin-flip at best (QQ and under), dominated at worst (AA, KK), or chopping (AK).

That said, out of position, against this type of player and in this situation, do you want to gamble this early in the tournament or wait for a better spot?
  4. I think I like shipping it here. If he's really TAG, you might have a bit of fold equity (not much though) and you're not likely to be much of a dog. It's early, so you don't have prize-pool considerations. Let's get it in and hope for the best.
  5. ya i mean i folded here i invested only 150 and i figured that best i am a 50% fav or crushed so.. i guess i am a nit

  6. Not a bad fold. I appreciate the ability to toss AK. Makes more sense to me than calling/hoping in a situation like this. Preference.

I don't think folding is bad. considering your opponent, it's probably a close play. I like getting it in early in a tournament. Others don't.
  8. yah no way you can flat pre-flop. 9x out of ten that's a good fold.
  9. ship or fold. i prefer fold in this spot.
