    Alex "milkthecow" Melnikow and Troy "Wubanga" LaPointe are heads up in a $5k freezeout at the Bellagio. First is $130k, 2nd is $60k.

    Alex Melnikow Wins Event # 10 ($131,880)

    After a painfully slow half hour of blind stealing and checked flops, we finally see some action. Troy Lapointe calls from the small blind and Alex Melnikow checks his option. The flop comes Q J 3, and Melnikow bets $12,000. Lapointe makes the call and the turn brings the 5. Melnikow bets out $35,000 and Lapointe moves all-in for $130,000 more. Melnikow calls and has him covered. Lapointe shows A K for the nut flush draw and a gustshot straight draw while Melnikow turns over Q 3 for two pair. The river brings the 7, no help to Lapointe as Melnikow is our new champion. Troy Lapointe will receive $59,100 for his 2<sup>nd</sup> place finish while Alex Melnikow will win the $131,880 grand prize, the gold bracelet, and the $25,000 WPT Championship seat.

    With a name like Troy LaPointe, you know he's from the streets. I wonder if he roughed up Melkinow behind the joint after it was over. Like "Pacman" Jones, a prison visit cannot be far behind.

    alex played very well the whole tourney i didnt know him before but hes a good guy and a real solid player. def was a slow first half hour of hu ........why did i limp ak grrrrr....he gets a bracelet and a 25k wpt seat ...arg oh well my first event i played here.

    Its quite obv. this kids got skills. Congratulations on your impressive live score. I could be wrong but isn't this the same guy who had a huge controversy few weeks ago about how he didn't like how his friend didn't soft play him?!? Glad to see ethical players winning lots of money.

    wonder why such a huge diff. in payout btwn top 2??
    $131k + 25k seat to winnner, so $156k, and 2nd place pays $59k.......

    seems larger difference than normal, but correct me if im wrong and other wsop events are as top heavy

    And to the think, if that hand with Kenny Rap and you never happened and all of the drama, then the universe and your future would have been different and you would have registered at a different time and been in a different seat and would not have gotten second.
