  1. I've done several calculations, and based on fulltiltrakeback.com's rakeback calculator, the pokerstars supernova, even if starting at the beginning of the year as supernova, struggles to even give the same rakeback totals as fulltilts 27% rakeback. Am i missing something? Is the rakeback calculator at fulltiltrakeback.com not very accurate? Does it exaggerate? Is it only better to go with pokerstars if you plan to go for Supernova Elite? What needs to be done in order to make normal supernova pay better than fulltilt? I read one site that said normal supernova can pay out up to 35%, but based on the calculations i'm doing i don't see that. All the calculations i do at various levels seem to keep fulltilt slightly ahead at the yearly rakeback total. People say that pokerstars is much better if you plan to play tons of poker, for example if you plan to play for a living, which i do. But how is this if the numbers are coming out the same? I know this is all assuming the the fulltilt and pokerstars point calculators are accurate, perhaps they aren't?

If you're wondering an example of criteria i used was $1/$2 NL, 6 handed, 10 tables at a time, 42 hours a week. Unless i'm bad at math, starting the year as supernova you'll end with $42,000 in rakeback which includes milestones and using all FPP's, while the fulltilt calculator says you'll end with closer to $43,000. So what's the deal here? I know i've got to be missing something.
  2. the supernova vpp multiplier is 3.5X

    a $1 rake gets 5.5vpps

    5.5 X 3.5 = 19.25fpps

the approx value of an fpp is .016 cents,

    19.25 X .016 = .308

so just the fpps alone make for about 30.8% rake back

add in all the milestone cash bonuses and the free tournament tickets and things like that and ull get higher than that 31%

I think you're forgetting that the points are used for those cash bonuses... With the criteria i gave, pokerstars calculator says 45k vpp per month, which is 540k vpp per year, with 1900fpp's per year. Using all those fpp's gives for milestones and 4k cash bonuses you'll have 42k at the end of the year just like i said.
