Alot of BRAND NEW accounts making WCOOP final tables wtf ???
it seems weird that the 10k champions account is like 2 month old hes an obvious multi accounter rite ??? will stars take the cash off him or let him keep the 600k?? -
most likely
-
so they set an account up 2 months ago, you've got to start one up at some point. You want him to enter 5-10high stakes MTTs before he can ship one?
-
For some reason this doen't suprise me. lol
-
did anyone ever find out who is
CrabMaki? -

It seems like every time these kind of threads are going on there are always a few guys insisting that it's just some lucky donk and everyone is retarded for not realizing it. In most of those cases it turns out that the account belongs to some high stakes player's brother... or grandmother... Stop being so naive

99.8% of the skilled players in the world who are rolled to play in these events already has an account on stars or Full Tilt. Any new (-er) accounts are multi-accounters or the new accounts of formerly underage players.
And the whole Darvin Moon, Jerry Yang argument holds NO water because we can actually see these people playing their cards. We know that it wasn't someone sitting over their shoulder telling how to play every hand. -

Maybe, but it doesn't matter. A lot of us knew before we even OPR'd anyone that there would be shady accounts--just like every other time there is a major tournament series on one of the big sites.Originally Posted by SpankyHamm

Regardless, the reality is probably somewhere in between what you two are saying and what Itghtuhadkk said. Some are almost undoubtedly new accounts that are LEGIT, some are HS cash players and some are MA's, but there is nothing we can do but speculate. Anyone who is +EV in these tourneys as a MA'er shouldn't be retarded enough to get caught with so much money on the line.
So, I ask, what's the point in speculating anymore? -
i tagged 2 guys yesterday as MultiAccounters... this isnt suprising and its actually standard, get used to it
-
stars and FTP can't catch them because it's too easy to get away with. Usually someone getting caught involves them opening their mouths and saying something stupid.
Do people bitch about it during every large series? Yup.
Is there anything that we can do about it? Apparently not.
Does that mean we should just shut up and accept that cheating is a part of poker? FUCK NO. -
agree
-
i think hes a british player. toby lewis (810ofclubs) had a congratulations to him on his facebook status, along with comments from other brit players.
-
i really don't see the need for one of these threads every time there is a big series
there are always new accounts that play these tourneys...sometimes it's someone that has a lot of money, sometimes it's a multi-accounter
just pointing out 'hey this guy is new to pokerstars' with 0 info is really stupid and pointless. if you don't have any other 'proof' that this guy is a multi-accounter, then just keep it to yourself...

This...you can't compare morons who run awesome in live tourneys when you can ACTUALLY find out who they are, to 10k wcoop winners in the toughest field ever. The Main Event also plays like a deepstacked 10 buck freezeout. 10k is a deepstack reg fest.
-
who won the event btw?
