  2. Maybe a little of both. You did get unlucky that he made his set, but it seems like you were trying to milk him for more and more money allowing him to make his hand. You guys were betting on the flop like it was a limit game. I would have made a large reraise on the flop to more define my hand. Also, it doesn't matter, but i would have gotten it allin on the turn, he wasn't folding for 40 more.

    I think that people try and get too crazy with A's, rather than just making normal plays. It's better to win a small pot than lose a big one.
