  2. There are 2 problems that I am seeing here. First, since you are utg with a pretty weak hand, it would be better just to fold pre. The second is that on the flop you had just called the reraise. The only hand that beats you is J 9. I would try and get it all in before any draws could be completed.
  3. UTG raise very questionable here. I'll maybe do it with suited connectors or low to medium pairs(obv. high pairs too). But I'll usually wait till the blinds are higher. But that flop I'd bet atleast 2/3 to the whole pot as there's a flush draw and many callers. Also the ten is there and a caller very well could have a hand like KT,QT,JT. But your question of are you committed after the turn yes. The other way to play this hand is to check/call the flop to see the turn cheap then bet. But here you got a big hand so bet and make a big pot. Big hands big pot small hands smal pot. Thats why I would fold this hand to begin with. Why build a big pot with it? I may(not likely) play this hand from the button or late w/many limpers already in.
  4. Cardplayer,

I like your advice for a bigger buy in. In a $2 game, you really rarely need to do anything tricky. Also, lots of people loose call in these. Also, making it 90 isn't nearly enough to get any folds, which is what your looking for.

My question here is, what is the plan for this hand? Are you raising here to pick up 45 chips in blinds? Are you raising to be called? The problem is, either one seems off. If your bluffing for the blinds, you have to make it about 120 here at a minimum (though, why try to buy 45 in blinds). If your raising to be called, why do you want calls when you don't beat anything?

After the flop, I think you played it fine. Your hand is perfectly hidden after your rediculous UTG raise. There is no way you can fold here. The raise is a dream. You can play it either way, flat and get it in on the turn or all in right there. Probably doesn't matter.

You lose, tough break. Though, you could argue what the heck he's calling with 84suited.
  5. 69o doesn't play well enough post flop, especially this deep stacked and out've position. There is no need to raise a crap hand like that in low limit tourneys as your opponents aren't putting you on ranges or anything, they just play their cards. You don't need to balance your raising ranges with bluffs or anything. The utg raise is overrated anyways.
