  1. Remeber him. Played against the corporation (doyle, todd, jennifer harmon, Ivey, etc)
    in the big game. Beal was the biggest gainer in the Forbes 400, buying distressed loans and assets. Gates, Buffett, down for the year.
  2. Andy Beal is very smart. While most banks were handing out loans to people like it was candy during the credit/housing bubble, Beal's banks were pulling back and not loaning so indescriminately. Now they have the capital available to buy up any asset that they view as being undervalued.

  8. He's brilliant. Read up on him because his story is incredible. He forecasted this whole down market and was prepared and able to turn this situation to make him, his bank and investors a shit ton of money.
