  1. Rube, you've made a joke of yourself with comments like those.
  2. Its probably the standard post around here lately.. People cant make a credible attack on someone. So they either have to attack their physical appearance, or the way they talk. Then if all else fails they have to resort to attacking someones PLB scores.
  3. Damn guys. It was a joke, and somewhat of a complement to Annie. I saw her on television talking about this very issue. She had a lot to say without very much time to say it. Annie did a great job, but sounded like she was on fast forward. Another time I saw her, they kept interrupting her and wouldn't let her speak. Brain on warp speed. Lighten up.

EDIT: And I happen to think Annie is very attractive. I saw a recent pic where she had been working out. Nicely done, Annie. You look great.
  4. lmao shes so ugly i turn the channel if i see her, if u want the US GOVT to listen to someone we need a way better lookin chick all those guys up in DC no is hot azz and they would listen to any fine chick i cant see any of them takin annie serious, she can work out all she wants but the fact is u cant pollish a piece of dog chit, i think all that money that went to poker allience shoulda just went into greasyin some DC palms they no that game also
  5. My aplolgy...
  6. Watched a little on the live feed. She does talk fast. Part I saw was her defending poker as a game of skill not luck.
  7. Thanks, Howard
  8. When her boyfriend won that big tourney on UB while she was commentating that was all skill too.
  9. SHe got what seemed to be defensive at the end when one congressman was asking her about the bond movie and making small talk. Was kind of funny.
  10. Not a prob. Just my fun/dumb West Texas humor. The general premise was supposed to mean that her brain spins faster than the rest of us folk. Slow down so we can understand.

Actually, I worked in television for many years and watched tons of people go in front of the camera--some not so gracefully. I thought Duke was a natural on camera and an interesting personality to watch. I'm sure she'll do well.

Okay, enough with that. Knock 'em dead, Duke.
  11. Oh hell, if it ever turns out that that was rigged, I'll take back everything nice I ever said about her.....and wash Waco's car.
  12. photoshop and makeup do wonders don't they
  13. So does exercise.
  14. I my self liked the tone of todays hearings

Most congressmen were open minded and could see the WTO gripe that

"how can U have a ban on internet gambling yet allow wagering on horse races and lotteries "

Yet we had one dickhead congressmen who tried to compare online poker to cocaine--lol

and he wouldn't shut up--"your time has expired sir" I'm not done yet, just let me finish

and he went on and on crying
  15. He must have been in Southern Baptist territory. Actually, I don't think anyone of them really care about poker half as much as U.S. dollars going to overseas accounts. Legalize it here, police the sites so they are not "rigged" or cheated from the inside, and people will want to play U.S. sites. The money will stay home (except for the money laundering stuff).
  16. ^^^^^^^ yes, LOL over and over again at those idiots.
