I played in the Omaha 8b Doublestack $15K Guarantee yesterday. Only 66 players were in nice overlay but only 8 spots paid out. Poor Tater H0 bubbled the money for 9th place good game. We need some satelites for this tourney. Right now there are only four $20 freeze outs one a day for this tourney at 11pm. Please give us some $5 turbo rebuys on a more regular basis. A few satelites starting in the morning and running every other hour would be great.
You came to the table and asked how we liked the format and to tell our friends about this tourney. The format was awesome and I will tell plenty of my buddies to play but we need more satelites. Thank you for taking the time to come to our table and get feed back from us. If I could have 15 minutes of your time on the phone to go over UBs satty schedule it sure would make it easier. -

It' no secret that alot of the "regular" UB satellite players have been alienated by the new tourney lineup.
It used to be that there would be either a $3 or $5 turbo rebuy satellites for the >$100 buyin tourneys running all throughout the day. If you would like more players to play in your feature tourneys please run more $3 and $5 turbo rebuy satellites throughout the day(one per hour) for the following tourneys:
daily 8PM $120+10 $20k Guar Deepstack
daily 9PM $120+10 $30k Guar Sniper
Wed 9pm $200+15 $80k Guar Sniper
Sat 3:30 $150+12 $15k PLO 8/b
BTW- Great job with the rest of the MTT lineup. Keep up the good work Annie. -

I don't play Omaha so can't speak directly to Houn's post but I agree completely with EvilCrusher's suggestion for more $3 and $5 turbo rebuy satellites throughout the day for the feature tourneys. Also, I'd like to add I hate the Super Short Stacks, Mega Short Stacks, etc. etc. ..... Sometimes I find myself in one of those by accident and it totally ticks me off. I agree that these shorts stacks are useless!!! These tournies only promote poor play. The guarantee tournies are nice, thanks, but overall I think the new schedule is lacking in many areas, not just the satty schedule.
I played regularly in many $5-$20 freezeout tournies that ran every hour or so...AND THEY ARE ALL GONE!!! There are only a hand full of "Daily" tourneys now available, and if I want to play small buy-in freezeouts, I have to go to other sites to do so. UB has been my favorite site to play poker for many years, it is a shame to see thousands of us have to go else where to find a game. -

The Short Stack and Ultra Turbos make sense before a tourney starts. What is frustrating is scheduling them right after the feature tourney begins. Why not play at regular speed with a normal stack?

Yes......I would like to see more morning and daytime stuff on the eastcoast. I am currently on a work release program and my corrections officer drops me off at my moms tattoo/peircing parlor for an 8am-5pm shift. I am in charge of scheduling and keeping the books so i get to play poker all day. After 5pm i have to return to the corrections facility where we arent allowed computers and obv dont have internet privileges.

I had left UB for awhile because of the overwhelming # of useless satelites like those .20 satelites for a dollar tourny and the loss of the 5.50 turbo rebuys for the 200k like the 3 seat guarntee and the Super short stacks. A lot of regular players get really tired of playing crap shoots for a seat or get deep into a guarnteed tourny and have players that are playing way above their level because they won one of the crap shoots to get in. I understand you want to raise the numbers for UB but what it really has done is change the skill level in the bigger tournies. I saw that one of the former UB pro's even say the LUCK FACTOR ON UB IS REDICULOUS!! I have to agree with him and believe this is a direct result of the new satelites.
If you want the numbers to go up maybe you should work on better support!!

Thank you for working this out. I am going to take a look at it this week and see what I can do to revamp the satty schedule. I know you guys don't like the 100 chip starter but what if i just raised the starting chips to 300? That would make it a lot better I think.
Anyway...I am going to see about reworking the schedule. Thanks!

If you can get the satty schedule fixed you are going to make alot of people happy and bring back alot of the old regulars at the same time. I think that a good satty schedule is going to lay the groundwork to get things going into the right direction for UB. -

Yes Annie 300 chips would be way better and maybe a turbo instead of an ultra turbo. Then you have more than 10 blinds for at least 5 minutes. Call me xoxooxxo

Actually Eddie you are correct the scamming on UB still has me worried and kept me away as well. But there are cheats and scammers on all the sites. I really wonder if UB will ever clean it up and get some real support then maybe they would raise the #s. I have played a very long time on UB but my trust in UB is very little. But when the former Pro's who use to represent the site question it, I really wonder what is happening there. The players shouldn't be the ones finding the scams and having UB denying it until they are blue in the face and someone else has to prove it.

It would be great to get some more $5 and $10 rebuy, turbo sattys, w/1500 starting chips to all of the big guarantees that you have nightly. I wouldd definitely play more of these during the day. Heck, even $3 turbo rebuys would be great. And I cosign, these should run hourly, and kill some of the Ultra SStack sattys.

I really miss the ability to play the sattys and get the TDs (tourney dollars). Is there any way to bring this back? I'm sure I am not the only one that enjoyed that about the satelite feeder tourneys (especially the Sunday 200K feeders...215 TDs woo hoo!!) :) It shouldn't be a "must play" set up.
People are much happier when given choices. To play or not to play and take TDs instead was a huge plus! Good luck at the tables all! -

Annie plz bring back the 40 PLO double stack. That was a great tourny but UB only ran it for like a week. If the guarantee is 3k instead of 5k it shouldn't have an overlay.
69 you can still get the tds but only for multiple satty wins. By forcing you to play the first seat won they are reducing the overlays a bit. This is an understandable and acceptable format IMO.
