    Found this paragraph in UB's current WPT Championship at Bellagio promotion:

    By entering the competition, entrants accept these Terms and Conditions. Limit of one prize per person. CONTEST VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED. This competition is NOT open to the employees, parents, directors, officers, contractors, agents, paid players, representatives, sponsors, or successors of either the operator of the poker room or the licensor of the poker room software. Each prize winner (Winner) may be required to sign a release, acceptance and declaration form before being awarded a prize. By accepting a prize, each Winner automatically grants the operator of the poker room and the licensor of the poker room software the right to use his or her screen name, name, images, renditions and likenesses without further permission, notice or financial compensation for any promotional purposes (such as publicity or advertising). All times set forth above are EST.

    So even by accepting a prize, you may have already given your rights away??? I think this issue will be debated for many months to come....

    I think you are wrong. Pretty standard legal fare for claiming a prize.

    This obviously worries you because you have dreams of winning a big tournament and parlaying that into endorcements or something. Well if you did..first win a seat, and then you did win a touanment I don't see how this contract could limit you going forward.

    Seems like you are kind of putting the cart before the horse here.

    So they can stick your pic on UB Front Page..blah blah won the 2 million through UB

    But if they want you to interview and give mention to UB (up to you), its still illegal to slander you, you could stillget a nice contract deal.

    All that means is UB can advertize the fact that you won through the site. They can't put you on a tishirt though ;-)

    No actually Marc dont have dreams of winning a big tournament...just something I found and thought people may be interested in....and more importantly ...how many people knew this existed ....were you aware??? Just food for thought...

    Thanks tilter and annie..was just something I came across and was interested in seeing what other peoples thoughts were on this....I dont think I will have to worry about being a big winner because it is all fixed LOL (just kidding)....

    PS: On a personal note...I think this site has certainly benefited by the posts of annie and westtexasman in the last couple of days...hope to see more posts and some articles in the future!!
