I got good feedback last time i did this and it kept me motivated throughout the day so i am going to give it another try. I am going to keep a similar schedule but definately going to be some changes from last time.

Obv im dissapointed but hopefully this gives some of you an understanding of the variance involved in MTT's. I played my heart out and didnt tilt through the worst of it. It just goes to show I can play 25 tourns in one day and still not expect a FT. Oh well, thx for the support guys... until next week.

floating around starting stacks in all the 2:00's. The 3r got 9k bad beated for another 9 but its all good only 6$ in. Ran QQ into AA 1st hand of the 9.5k... i just open shipped vs a raise and 5 calls... wanted to look weakest but he had AA so it didnt matter. Plus its a KO tourn and u get called much lighter imo.

Limp was standard, even though the board is draw heavy id rather check call here then lead out cause my hand really isnt that strong. Then after i flat the flop leading the turn wouldnt make much sense. An 8 would check and i didnt rep a J anyway. I figured if hes bluffing let him continue to and if not try to see the showdown cheap as possible. When river comes an A i made a block bet because occasionally they may fold their jack, also its a great card for him to bluff at so i wanted to take that option away. He happened to have the ace so i did feel a little silly letting him get there but i think i played the hand fine.

pretty standard i think.
Overall busted most of what i started ran JJ into KK twice, lost with AJ to 44 on J 2 4 board (10$ 100k cant pay me to fold that). Ran into a crappy spot with 99 on a Q 4 4 board in bodog 20k vs a short stack to cripple me (he had AQ flatted 30% of his stack pre) other than that just waiting for the 4:00's to start. Im currently in the bodog 44$, stars 50k, and 3r stars. -

i was sooooooo close to folding the flop but i mean... what two pair is he limping utg here? I figured AT KT was farrrrrr more likely. And a set really isnt too likely either cause hed have to have the last 6's or 9's in the deck and not raise Ts. Idk was i dumb to go broke here?
Raised AA pre in bodog 100k from 20 to 120 after a limper. Two call including limper. 8 9 x flop. Limper checks i lead 250 into 400ish pot get reraised to 600 and limper overcalls both raises. Normally id be scared in this spot but the guy just bluffed into me with K8 no club on a 4 flush 4 straight board the hand b4. Either way i think it was a must ship with stack sizes and the pot he had 88 nh.
I cant keep up with all my bust outs so far its been 100% miserable. I dont think ive misplayed really anything too bad so far just reallllly ugly spots. still alot to go hope it turns. -

Dave, how did you do last week when you did this? I know your buy-ins were around 1G but I never saw your winnings posted?

The first HH wehre u had 1010... do u always make a raise like daT? What if he flats and the flop comes like KJx..or AQx...and he leads out...that would put u in a ugly spot eh? Idk i was just wondering if thats standard.. I find myself in that position so much..where I had to fold my TT because they just flat my raise and dont put me allin..blahh

Still in 3r but gettin low got 9k at 300/600. In the 10r about 50 or 60$ in sitting 9350 after break. Got 6k at 150/300 in bodog 4k halfway thru. 3600 in stars 50k that just started recently. Trying really hard to stay positive and turn things around, MTTs are just dirty sometimes tho. -

right u bring up a great point. Thing was i had a really good read on him he was playing like 80% of his hands. I wanted to make my bet big enough to where it wasnt exactly an overbet but it would leave him with options of either shoving or folding. I dont think your going to see ppl flat too often there. Even if he did flat i probably wasnt folding jsut cause he was playing sooo many hands. and no i dont always raise like that usually 2.5-3x

Was talking to dave in AIM about this AQ hand (hidden brag, I know dave LOL). I think its spewy. With the UTG raise and UTG+1 flat I can easily dump AQo here with 30xBB in my stack. I think the UTG+1 flat is pretty strong, and I really doubt you get two folds here with the squeeze, which is what you really want --even tho you dont hate flipping vs one of them with extra money in the pot.
Dave said he felt the UTG+1 flat was weak, and that this was good. Other opinions? -
A question for DoubleDave Bodog MTTs 100 K garauntee!
Last week I had AK and got beat by QQ 21st.
This week I bubbled with QQ in SB vs KK villan Late position raiser who had been attacking the blinds.
13 till the bubble in the 100 K today Sunday July 13th
My Stack 17 K approximate
Villan 23 K approximate
I wake up with QQ in the SB. Every one folds to a Villian in late position whom has been raising the blinds double quite often attacking the blinds.
Last time he raised. I called and saw a flop. I bet he lay down.
15 hands later we are at the QQ in the SB.
Blinds 300/600 antes 75
Average Stack 21 K approximate
He raise the Pot 1800
I reraise to 4320
He pushes all in.
I call and it is QQ vs KK I am eliminated at 106 and my buy in was only 10+1 as I won a satellite.
Should I have laid down on the push so close to the bubble.
Should I have pushed on his raise.
Should I have flat called. Board was all small cards with a st8 possible to the Q.
with runner runner.
Did I overplay the hand out of position?
Any insight appreciated.

May I answer this one? Thank you, altho I will anyway. You made absolutely the right play. I wouldn't reraise shove here, but the only thing i might do different is make it about 5800 or so (it wouldn't have changed the outcome). Raising when OOP I like to make it a bit more than 3x if I'm not shoving.
Whatever happened in the tourneys leading up to this is irrelevant. You should chalk those up and treat every day as a fresh day. Don't play to cash, play to win. Good call, bad result. -
