  1. i love the action of rebuys. i know it's kind of obvious, it's just kind of funny to open push aces UTG and get a bunch of cold calls.

    on the other hand, i hate the days when i play a rebuy and i practically have to win to break even. and this was the $5r. yiiiiiikes.
  2. Also;

    3) When you're constantly missing during the rebuy hour, going all-in with every other hand and losing every possible race/40%/20% contest. When you click on the rebuy button for the 14th time in a row, and the entire table is starting to chime in with their snide little comments.

    "lol rebuy please"
    "god this guy doesn't give up"

    And all you want at that point is to just get a whiff of 6,000 chips. You don't even need to hold on to it; just let me get there. Once. Then you can take it away.

    I had one in the $10 rebuy where I was up to about $280 and just missing everything. My showdown percentage was like 3-for-26. It was painful. When I finally left with two minutes to go, a few of the guys even admitted on my way out that it was the unluckiest run of cards they had ever seen.
  3. I've had some sick runs in rebuys. I was getting AK, QQ, KK, AQ, JJ, AA, almost every other hand, and every time I had QQ or better 2 people would be all in, and my hands never held. I was like 7-31 at showdown with 5K in chips at the start of the 2nd break. I think I donated 150$, which wasn't all that bad.
  4. thankfully no one said a word to me today when i rebought for the 4832048th time. i seriously was pushing with good holdings, too... AK, AQ, pocket pairs preflop, and postflop two pair or better i would push and lose. not complaining, i know it sounds like it... just saying it's so weird how some days you just can't win. thank god i can suck out!!

    i pretty much was like F THIS. but then F THIS turned into my other favorite poker saying... "i got two live cards!" and they came.
