  3. that is a crazy hand, I assume pr1nnyraid is shoving for value there? Huge overbet there but im sure hes just thinking on like the 13th level or something.

  4. this has to be a shove for value, i cannot imagine him bluffing this spot, but the flop was so dry, i am a bit confused by him going for this much value; i hate to use metagame as a rationale, but i think it is probably a reasonable explanation here.

  5. I wouldn't even attempt to understand the play in these heads up games. You'll get a headache.

    Who's up so far?
  6. I would say he shoved as a bluff hoping PA would fold TPTKish hands after looking at the flop action and PA calling a large turn bet.
  7. Rake 50c on a $500,000 pot??? WTF. I play a $40 pot in microstakes and get raked $3. Is this standard for nose bleed section?
  8. i cant imagine that being a value bet
  9. what you don't think he shoved there hoping PA calls with worse?

    yes

  11. I highly doubt that was a value bet.

That was my first impression as well, pretty narrow range to bluff away though
  13. PA didnt call a large turn bet, he made a standard sized turn bet.
  14. OK I suck at reading HH's for the most part

all HU cash games have rake capped at 50c

  16. made hand turned into a bluff just using all his options great play better call by patrik imo
  17. it was a value bet
  18. agreed

  19. yeah but he takes that line with only a narrow range of hands

  20. Ok I know I am ignoring my own advice and I know busto_soon, St Pauli and B_O_K_E all much better than me have suggested otherwise. I know I know nothing about the metagame implications etc of this HU match, I am also not a HU expert by any means.

So at the risk of being embarrassed:

LOL @ that being a bluff.
