Any good books i should read ?

    ive read phil gordons book and power hold em by daniel negrano ...im considering picking up harrington on hold em any recommendations on books that could help my play ?

    books are outdated imo

    if you are goin to get books:

    winning tournaments one hand at a time by rizen, apestyles, pearljammer

    harrington on holdem vol.1,2,3

    Kill Everyone and Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand At A Time....those books coincide with one another.

    The real problem is...using that knowledge you learned in that books at the table...it all makes sense when you are reading the books but when you get to the tables its a whole different ball game.

    *****Making some of the most optimal-movees has to be second nature, the book shows you the best ways to play but being able to remember those plays and using them at the drop of a dime can be the hard part*****

    well if it weren't for the few books i read my game would have never improved so much so they did help me to understand u know pot odds and how many outs i have so much better. i wasnt good at that at all i played cards for a few years now but online i only started a few months ago...this site even helps alot i ve read alot of the strategy they have here as well

    I suggest The Prince of Tides. The language is beautiful and the characters are compelling.

    Oh um poker... Kill Everyone has fantastic appendixes that can greatly improve your game.

    Im still a sucker for super system 2 especially if you want to learn to play well at a lot of different games, and Doyles section on NLHE is still great stuff imo... i know some people will say it is outdated but i still think a lot of the information and stategies are still relevent!
