    There's no real poker rooms in Atl just underground ones.

    Or if you want to play with people that are pretty horrible you can go to most of the bars in the suburbs and play some STT's.

    I hear the First Baptist Church in Woodstock holds some high stakes action every Wed night. Otherwise, the 6+ hour drive or 45 min flight to Tunica is prolly your only option.

    I moved to GA from NYC a little over a year ago. Good Luck trying to find an underground joint or bar that still run games. I'm still looking a year later. It was so much easier in NY to find a poker group. Seems like law enforcement is pretty serious over here on cracking down on illegal games. GA Sucks...=/

    Unground poker clubs are rare and Tunica is better than Savannah. right?

    I'm in Gwinnett, this place suckss in terms of trying to find entertainment. When I first moved, the only bar in the neighborhood use to hold Stt's every tuesdays and weekends, and it was shut down within my first month here. I' haven't seen or heard anything poker related in this area since. I don't doubt at all that the poker scene in Fulton is more active

    There were a few games running on a regular basis- they have had problems with the police and holdups. Not sure what their current status is.

    ^^^^elite athens poker population brag post obv.

    There's games all over the place in GA, it's no coincidence the abbreviation for the state is the same as gamblers anonymous. You probably will find it hard to get into these games by posting on the internet though, the way things have been you really have to know someone to get into games lately. I'd recomend looking for a home game and getting to know some people that know some people.

    I could tell you of dozens of underground games in the ATL area. Just won't do it in open forum.

    There are dozens of underground games in ATL. Most play 2/5nl some play 5/5 nl. The rakes are high but the players are bad. I won't discuss the games in an open forum.

    We play most Fridays at lunch (BLT = Bluff Lunch tourny). Buy in is 10 or 20, depends on what our employees are comfortable with.

    Sometimes we will play cash or SNG's for $100
