    I don't know what I am looking to get out out of this post but I felt like I was playing the best I have ever played and then this happened and I am so bummed out because this is the kind of stuff that occurs all the time to prevent me from going deep. It's a bad beat but im not concerned about that...the question is, is there anyway I could play this different to get him off it?

    Honestly I dont think so. You could have raised stronger but I think that he would still have called imo. I know it sucks if those things happen.....keep playing well and you will prevail

    Nope, nothing you can do about this. There's no chance of him laying down a set against that board, and its -EV to raise so much PrF that no one gives you action on your Kings
